Stretching Exercises for Disc Golfers

corner stretch

stand in a corner with hands shoulder level and lean forward until a comfortable stretch is felt across the chest
hold for 20 seconds
repeat 5 times



trapezius strech

Gently grasp side of head while reaching behind back with other hand. Tilt head away till a gentle stretch is felt
hold for 20 seconds
repeat 5 times



towel stretch

pull involved arm up behind back by pulling towel upward with the other arm
hold for 20 seconds
repeat 5 times
wand stretch

push wand out and up until you feel a comfortable stretch
hold for 20 seconds
repeat 5 times



abduction

with arm resting on the table, palm up, bring head down toward your arm as you simultaneously move your trunk away from the table
hold for 20 seconds
repeat 5 times



external rotation

bend forward at the waist keeping forearm on the table palm down until stretch is felt
hold for 20 seconds
repeat 5 times


Combine these stretches with the Equalizer for best results
