We will be taking a portable pole-hole and a variety of disc golf discs with us to give free disc golf clinics all over the island.
When we leave to return home, the disc golf equipment will remain in Jamaica for the people to enjoy!
What's in it for me?
The winters here in western New York are brutal to say the least and trudging through waist deep snow in sub zero temperatures isn't quite as exhilarating as it was ten years ago. Volunteering my time and expertise to the sport of disc golf in Jamaica is a dream come true!
Thirty-five years ago I had the pleasure of sharing my music with some newfound friends on a beach in Montego Bay.
The amazing weather, unique culture and ultra friendly people made a profound and positive impact on my life. Upon returning home to western New York, I vowed that I would return some day to the island of paradise, Jamaica.
